A great restaurant with a great location. Wide range of buffet. Clean, cozy, quiet, all rooms with ocean views, polite staff + lots of different animals running around the area. Wonderful place!!!

Unfortunately underwhelming...
We booked a room with 2 double beds (alternatively 2 single bed) for a higher price because that's what we wanted - when we checked in, we were given a room with 1 double bed. Unfortunately the bed couldn't be spitted and no other room was available (which we highly doubted, as we were one of the early one's checking in that day).
We received a very soft co-sleeper bed...
The first night, we went to bed quite early as we were exhausted from the day. Suddenly, there was banging on the door - up to 10 times - before I was awake enough to open the door to 2 service guys from the hotel, giving me some cut fruits and 4 pralines - at 10:30pm!? I was totally confused by the time and behaviour...
Also the personnel wasn't of great help when asked regarding directions, post office, or else...
We just didn't like the experience we had in this hotel.

The room is not soundproof, you can hear the fart next door. In addition, there are singers singing in the lobby every night. The sound is so loud and noisy until after 11 o'clock. They don't stop and you can't rest at all.
When cleaning the room, either bath towels or toothbrushes are not given. I think it is intentional, hoping that the guests will call someone to deliver them so that they can collect tips. This is also a common problem in Lanka hotels.
The hotel is a bit old, but there are no tissues or slippers in the room. What's going on?

My spouse and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Unfortunately, due to my high sensitivity to spicy foods, I suffered a severe allergic reaction, resulting in hives and eczema. Small and large rashes appeared all over my arms and legs, accompanied by intense itching and burning. This morning, when I went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, one of the restaurant staff members, Supum, noticed the rashes on my legs and kindly inquired about my condition. I explained the situation, and he immediately called the head chef and the hotel’s internal manager. They came over to check on me, asked about the duration of my stay, inquired about the types of food I could safely eat, and whether I had seen a doctor and received proper medication. They also wanted to know how they could assist me further. As a traveler experiencing such a severe skin reaction, this level of care and attention meant a great deal to me. HI. A beautiful and clean hotel with extremely kind and caring staff, especially disna-supun-Lasitha-malshi. The staff were very nice. My wife got a little sick and developed allergies. This love was like being by her side and helping her.

Начнём с того, что Шри-Ланка сказочный остров с живописной природой, прекрасным климатом и шикарным океаном, до которого рукой подать...Отель нам понравился. Не новый, но очень уютный и гостеприимный. Особенно хочется отметить команду Kanishka, Plansi, Ucara, Rowan, Chanula, Bucchika. Ребята замечательные! Открытые, дружелюбные, и с чувством юмора)) дети наши, так вообще, были в восторге от такой компании. Ещё хотелось бы отметить удивительной красоты пляж, разнообразную и вкусную еду, достойный сервис. На территории отеля разнообразная живность, белки практически ручные, павлины, птицы диковинные, которые захаживали в гости, что добавило эмоций в наш отдых. В общем, от души рекомендуем))))

I have lots of experience in the palms hotel .staff very good kindly .they are every time helps us. Especially bar staff are super team. Already they knows what we want .they make nice cocktails for guests.among them hansi udara ruwan and all bar team are best
